Unexpected angels

Unexpected angels

I don’t work with angels much. For several reasons. The main reason is respect. I respect the power and majesty of these energy forms so much, that my limited experience of them leads me to limit my interactions with them to moments of necessity. However, I don’t mind when the tables are turned and an angel decides to pay an unexpected visit! I was invited to join Debra Delglyn and her colleague Neil Brocklehurst. Neil was one of these people who I have somehow managed to avoid meeting for a long time, and so it was a delight to finally meet the man. He was a picture of calm and confident assurance. This man clearly has wisdom to dispense, and the fact that he was prepared to do so without a fee was humbling and deserved both my attention and my...

Return to Mont St Michel

Return to Mont St Michel

Brittany has to be one of my favourite destinations. On this holiday we were making our way through Normandy in order to get there, and so it was an obvious point on the route to include the marvellous Mont St.Michel. Somehow I have always managed to get to the French site, but have never managed to get to the English counterpart – St. Michael’s Mount. Just one of those odd things. Another odd thing is that I don’t think I will be going back to Mont St Michel for a while. It’s not the place itself, it’s the way that you are now made to feel like a factory farmed animal and are herded onto buses with bored drivers, miles away from the village in order to be unloaded close to the entrance. It’s efficient, and it’s free, but...

Passing the Violet Flame

Passing the Violet Flame

Not all my stories are epics divided up into shorter snippets. Here’s a snippet from my druidic spiritual life that is just a slice in time when the next stage of my work gets enacted. If you remember from previous posts (St Germain) I had been invited to pass on The Violet Flame, which is an energy that is linked with the ascended master St Germain, and which I associate with the Crown Chakra energies. For me it symbolises a deeper spiritual connection. The Violet Flame can act as a means to unblock that can inhibit the free flow of this celestial or spiritual connection. This blog has a good explanation of how to heal the crown chakra: Earth Energy Healings I was having a spa day – massage, jacuzzi, swimming, relaxing. Having left it until the last...

Protection, Infection, Aura and Environment

Protection, Infection, Aura and Environment

I have often been told that I am a veritable expert in the field of energy. I have to laugh, and say, “if only you knew…” Like all of us, I get caught out and like all of us, I get caught out often. Indeed, like all of us…you get the picture. I was visiting a very dear friend of mine who had just returned from a trip to visit her family. I knocked on her apartment door and was let in. She was busy in the kitchen and so I went into the living room. Almost upon entering the apartment I felt this truly powerful wave of stuffyness. As I had walked into, what back in the day, we would have called a pea-souper. It was a profound state of energetic muddyness. So much so that I immediately instigated a layer or two or three of protection around...

Belas Knap, Chakras and The Merlin Staff

Belas Knap, Chakras and The Merlin Staff

On a particularly sunny day Kal and I planned to venture forth into the world in search of adventure. We had a plan, of course. A rough plan. I wanted to go to Belas Knap long barrow, which I first and last visited in the autumn of 2013. I had been thinking about how I could achieve my quest: to find the essence of The Merlin Staff – an oak staff in preparation, but yet to be created. The ‘thinking’ involved letting myself be guided to the image of Belas Knap. On rational reflection it seemed to have all the right ingredients: I had met with Merlin there, brandishing a staff and inviting me to call down lightning. This was Kal’s first visit, yet for both of us we were not allowed immediate entry to the site. Both of us had to go through an...

The Hemlock Stone – Spring Equinox 3

The Hemlock Stone – Spring Equinox 3

We were done with going on a planned path. It always happens. We make a grand list of places to visit and pretty much get as far as 2 or 3 on the list before we are led off the yellow predicted road and on to stranger paths. Our destination happened to be the Hermits Cave. A place we had visited before and found to be an excellent sacred place. However as we drove in that direction we went past The Hemlock Stone and were drawn to it immediately. A quick flick of the steering wheel and an ice-cream later we were climbing the short rise up to this magnificent stone. The energy surrounding the place was beautiful and we approached the sun left the clouds behind and shone its Spring heart out. Perfect, is a good word to use. There was definitely work to be done here....
