Unexpected angels

Unexpected angels

I don’t work with angels much. For several reasons. The main reason is respect. I respect the power and majesty of these energy forms so much, that my limited experience of them leads me to limit my interactions with them to moments of necessity. However, I don’t mind when the tables are turned and an angel decides to pay an unexpected visit! I was invited to join Debra Delglyn and her colleague Neil Brocklehurst. Neil was one of these people who I have somehow managed to avoid meeting for a long time, and so it was a delight to finally meet the man. He was a picture of calm and confident assurance. This man clearly has wisdom to dispense, and the fact that he was prepared to do so without a fee was humbling and deserved both my attention and my...

Passing the Violet Flame

Passing the Violet Flame

Not all my stories are epics divided up into shorter snippets. Here’s a snippet from my druidic spiritual life that is just a slice in time when the next stage of my work gets enacted. If you remember from previous posts (St Germain) I had been invited to pass on The Violet Flame, which is an energy that is linked with the ascended master St Germain, and which I associate with the Crown Chakra energies. For me it symbolises a deeper spiritual connection. The Violet Flame can act as a means to unblock that can inhibit the free flow of this celestial or spiritual connection. This blog has a good explanation of how to heal the crown chakra: Earth Energy Healings I was having a spa day – massage, jacuzzi, swimming, relaxing. Having left it until the last...

Reconfigurations and Repurcussions

Reconfigurations and Repurcussions

It was the first energetic thing that I could bring myself to do after Kal’s death. I knew what needed to be done, but I needed a week away to even begin to get enough space between the event and what I needed to find the strength to do. Energetically, shamanically, we had discussed the concept of clearing death energy many times. This was not the circumstance in which I ever intended to use such practices. Yet the fact remained. Kal’s energy needed to be released from the spot where he had died. Only I knew that. Only I knew how to do that. Only I cared that it was done. He would only have wanted me to be the one to do it. So I had to stiffen up the sinews and go back there. Back to the slopes of Dinas Bran in Llangollen. On the way it looked so...

Whirling with the Dervishes p1

Whirling with the Dervishes p1

In the Islamic faith (according to some authorities) there is a night when Allah decides upon the fates of human-kind. The night is called Shab e Baraat in tongues from my heritage. It’s meaning using these words is Night of innocence. The day before the night (night follows day) I got to hear of a sufi gathering some miles from where I live and so on impulse I decided to attend the evening/night-time event. I have over the last few months been gently maneuvered into looking into Sufism again. As this set of posts from way back when (well, actually 3 years ago) illustrates this is by no means the first time that Sufism has positioned itself in my life. This particular set of events may have a start point here (Rumi and Valentines) but I doubt it. The name...

Creating a meditation space

Creating a meditation space

I am now in the second round of my set of 21 free nature-themed outdoor meditations. I had taken a break in May in order to take stock of what we had accomplished already, and to see who wanted to go around the cycle again with me.  I was heartened by the feedback on the Spirit In Nature Meetup group and I decided to restart the meditations in June. I had one important change to make: the location. I needed a new space to work in. Towards the end of the previous sessions we had been interrupted by dogs, walkers, kids playing and climbers, not to mention having to clear up the detritus of people who used the space as a party venue. There was too much activity in the large open quarry, and something no longer felt “right” about the place as a space for...

Bodfari – Healing our past

I landed in Liverpool after an exciting time in Italy where I had quested for the final element, the element of Air. With that beautiful success in my heart I was eager to continue. Chris picked me up at the airport and we were off to the wilds of Wales. Backstory… Many years ago when we had just started out on this remarkable journey we found a pair of boots that were many sizes too big for our feet. We were learning knowledge faster than we were gaining wisdom and so inevitably we made mistakes. One of these was on a high hill in the midst of Wales near a town called Bodfari. One late evening we had ventured to the top of this hill with the idea of creating our own sacred site. Were we novices at the task. No. We were not even on the threshold of...
