Caileach instructs: Strands of Destiny – p11 Solstice 2014

The Summer Solstice Day was coming to a close and as you have read the last 10+ posts, it had been an amazing time. Gwas and I always consider the question… Can it get any better? And then it does! Can you beat that kind of life? I doubt it. So here we were in the midst of mountains that rose up on all sides. The sacred site that we had arrived at was called, Shronebirran. Upon our arrival we spent a considerable time trying to capture the glory of the surroundings. It was hopeless. One of the things that Gwas and I strongly recommend to readers is Go Out There! What you read here, honestly, it pails to what we actually experience and see. Please…just go! I was quite surprised by the answer of No, to my question of, ‘did I need to prepare’...

Visions of the 3rd Eye – p9 Solstice 2014

We were lost or rather the sacred sites we were looking for were not where the map had indicated. We drove back and forth along several routes to no avail. I was reminded of a spell I had come across long ago. Turn about – where a person is put into such a confusion that they cannot find their way out of the simplest of places. So it seemed for us. I know what you are thinking… Leprechauns. Well we wernt. One of the abilities of such odd beings is that of concealment. I don’t mean that they hide from you, but rather that they don’t let the thought that it might be them cross your mind. Ireland and Leprechaun energy is something we have come across on other occasions. But the thing is, the very thought that it might be a leprechaun is...

Integrating my Energy and the return of the Bee totem – p7 Solstice 2014

As it seems is always the way when it comes to my Energy Double integration. It isn’t a straight-forward or replicable process. Each and every time it is different. Of course there are similarities. One of these is the pre-amble or dance that occurs. Dancing with my Energy Double involves me laying out a path for it to follow, almost like landing strip lights. Once a number of these have been left then I am ready to be reintegrated. We arrived at the Sheen Valley Heritage Area which was only half an hour away from a first stop at Kenmare. The sacred site that was our destination was a good thirty minutes walk at the other side of the Heritage Area. Gwas set of at a swift pace, whereas I took a more leisured approach. At some point, the rods shifted me of...

Song of the Energy Double at Kenmare – p6 Solstice 2014

Of all the places we visited on this Emerald Isle trip, Kenmare was the easiest to get to. Although the signposting was a bit askew for our liking, the site itself was on the border of the town and easy to walk to. We arrived in the beautiful early morning sun and found only a couple of people at the site, even though it was the Summer Solstice. We both walked around the small site a few times, letting it get to know us and vice versa and of course taking some lovely pictures of this sunlit place. I really liked the energies here and felt that it was an auspicious place to stare our Solstice Day. I asked whether there was any need to prepare and the answer came back yes. I was taken to a stone of to the side and facing the sun. Sitting down and having the sun...

The Blackthorn Portal – Summer 14 P5

Kenmare – County Kerry, Ireland – 21st June 2014 We roll into town with clear instructions – the stone circle is just on the edge of the town, down Market Street. That’s true but for some reason we decide that the street designated as “market” must be the one with all the shops on it. Well, that was foolish! A long walk out and back means that we start the day off grumbling about how to put a sign up to name your streets in small Irish towns. We haven’t wasted much time, and soon we find the pristine, manicured stone circle at the end of a well-kept hedge-lined path. It feels like we’re walking on to a bowling green! Bowlers on the Green The circle is composed of beautiful stones – not too tall, but equally...
